SEX WORK IS REAL WORK.
Pole dancing has deep roots in the sex work community, and we acknowledge that we owe much of this art form to sex workers. With this in mind, we have a duty not only to respect but to amplify the voices of sex workers, especially when we are benefiting from a space they helped create. It is essential that we as pole dancers challenge harmful stereotypes and fight for the decriminalization and destigmatization of this labor.
NEXXUS MOVEMENT STANDS WITH SEX WORKERS
We provide a safe, inclusive space where sex workers are welcome to practice, perform, and connect with others in a judgment-free environment. Our studio offers discounts for SWs, private class options, and income-based pricing to ensure that everyone has access to the benefits of pole dance.
Additionally, we respect sex workers' privacy. We prioritize confidentiality and understand that some members of our community may need to keep their work private. Our studio policies ensure that no one is required to disclose personal information, and we maintain a strict no-photo policy unless explicit consent is given.
