We have a decal on our glass door. Locate our door in the back of the building in the back parking lot- same door as Hello Hair. Please ring the door bell for entry if door is locked.

Parking:

Street parking is all free! Do not park in the parking lot in the back of the building.

Orange, Shelby & Olive St. all provide short walking distance parking options.

Goodwill is also a permittable parking spot and walkable.

✺ Frequently asked Beginner questions ✺

  • There is no weight limit for our poles.

  • Pole dance is about 60% lower body and 40% upper body. You do no need to be “strong” to start pole, you will gain strength along the way.

  • The more skin you have available to the pole the better. Short shorts and a tank top/ sports bra are fine.

  • We have a page on our website completely dedicated to what to do after beginner courses under the “beginner” tab. The page is labeled “After Beginner Course”.

  • Beginner 3-week Membership Course or a Beginner Drop-in

  • Flexibility will come along with taking clases, it is not required to start.

Policies:


Pole Is For everybody:

  • There is no weight limit for our poles

  • Pole, just like other fitness activities, it is not linear.

  • You do NOT have to be “fit” to do pole.

  • Pole does cause bruises to the skin. After a few weeks the bruising will dissipate as the skin becomes stronger.

  • The more skin contact you have with the pole the better you will stick.

  • Bring shorts/ sports bra to change into for class

  • Sometimes hands sweat, because of this we use “grip” during pole. There will be access to “grip” (essentially liquid chalk) called “dry hands” at the studio for your use. After the first class you will be required to purchase some.

  • Try to avoid wearing lotions and oils on skin the day of class. These will keep you from gripping the pole in most circumstances.

  • Dry Hands is available for purchase at the studio boutique.

  • Alternatively, if you wish to purchase on your own, you can find some on Amazon. Search:“Dry Hands”.


Late Cancels:

  • Class Cancellations must be done 8hours prior to class start time.

  • You are considered a late show to class 8 min past class start time and you will not be able to participate.

  • Late cancellations, late shows and no shows will result in a $25 fee.

  • No shows & late shows will lose their class credit in addition to the $25 fee.

We are a small business, not a cooperation, not a franchise - all sales make a difference to us! Because of this we will NOT make exceptions to our policies!!

By purchasing any of our packages, classes memberships or workshops, you agree to these policies.


Membership Policy & Holds:

  • Cancellations: Recurring monthly memberships must give a 30-day notice with ACTIVE membership to cancel.  

    • If you are in the middle of a billing cycle 1 more payment is due.

    • Nexxus requires 1 final payment cycle as completion of your cancelation.

    • Your next billing cycle will be your final bill.

    • You will be able to access the studio for 30-days from the submission of your final bill. 

    You cannot cancel your membership when it is paused. Membership cancellations must be done with an active membership.

    Holds: Pausing you membership is $30 a month – will not guarantee your rates stay the same, but will keep you from paying a startup fee once your membership payment resumes. To restart your membership you will need to choose from the membership’s currently offered. Past memberships that are not available on our website will no long be an option.

    Pausing your membership needs to be done at least 7 days prior to your upcoming billing cycle.
    If you have missed this window you will not be able to pause until the next billing cycle.
